Ruth Ware is back!!!!!

Ruth Ware the Death of Mrs Westaway Book Cover Reveal

Ruth Ware has revealed the first peak of her forthcoming book, The Death of Mrs. Westaway.

Ware, who is coming off the heels of her third consecutive bestseller with this summer’s The Lying Game, which released this July, has already been busy with her next thriller, to be released next summer, June 18, 2018 in the UK. (No news as of a specified pub date for the U.S.)

The British novelist posted the announcement on Twitter, which she first shared on her self-titled blog on Tuesday (December 12).

Here’s what it’s about

This time around: Ware’s newest work will focus on a woman named Harriet “Hal” Westaway, who receives a letter informing her of an inheritance bestowed by her deceased grandmother, Hester. Hal sees the message as a much-needed blessing and also a timely answer to her unfortunate debts.

However, Hal has a far greater problem on her hands: she is not the correct beneficiary, but merely a fortune-teller who has fallen on hard times. Nonetheless, the break she has been afforded is one she is not willing to pass on. And if all it takes is to play the role of a complete stranger for a life-changing inheritance, she’ll do it.

But something goes awry during her trip to the Trepassen House in Cornwall, and Hal learns she is not the only one withholding dark secrets. Yet, the other person seems like they will stop at nothing to keep theirs hidden…

Ware’s next book seems like it’ll be another goodie in her chilling canon, and I am so excited for its arrival next year!

As of yet, you may only pre-orderThe Death of Mrs Westaway in the UK.
