The Wing’s Libraries of Female Authors is Everything

What's chicer than a color-coded library?

What is The Wing? It’s part social club, part co-working space where women (and only women) gather to work, recharge, attend panels and events, and generally plan world domination. In the words of its Instagram bio: “We’re a coven, not a sorority.”

Now open in three different NYC locations — Flatiron, Soho, and Dumbo (with a D.C. outpost on the way) —every element of this dreamy, pastel-colored coworking space is picture perfect, from its custom illustrated wallpaper to its fully functional lending libraries. Curated by The Strand (Soho and Dumbo libraries) and R.H. Lossin (Flatiron libraries), every book is by a woman or about women. To top it all off, the shelves are neatly organized by color, creating a rainbow of female-centric literature at the heart of each space.
